My K43TA using SSD Crucial M4 SATA3 (spec 510 MB/sec insert in my desktop run full speed)
    but in K43TA read speed = 265MB/sec (SATA2)

    A70M and A68M are support SATA3
    but K43TA is SATA2 ?

K43TA? Or is that a typo? The K43TA exists on Asus' website, but I haven't seen it surface anywhere. If it is K43TA, where did you get it? A 14" laptop with these same specs and price would be great.

I think the K43TA does exist but not in the US market.

hello Joker I see that you have been used two different laptops
one is i5 with GForce 540 vga and the other is AMD A6 with AMD VGA

and I need your help to know which is better For gaming ?
because I confused to chose between Asus k53ta and Lenovo ideapad z570.
z570 has i5 and 540gt like your MSI i5 laptop.
your opinion really will help me, thank you in advance.

I believe the z570 with the GT 540M would be a better gaming machine. The reason I chose to keep my MSI over my Asus is portability. The MSI is much smaller and lighter.

The GT 540M scores 8800 in 3DMark06 and is very easy to overclock. I was able to get my GT540 to score 10,000 3DMark06 points after overclocking.

It really depends on the games you play, either laptop can run Call Of Duty on max settings(1366x768).

Finally got this to overclock, runs solid at 2.2 thanks for all the help in this thread. I'm prob going to get 4 more gigs of ram in here eventually as well - to the people that have does it significantly improve performance?

Has anyone run mdw3 on this?

Now, only if the res/screen was better... I still feel like I see banding on the loading screen and darker images. It's weird, its harder to play some games like hon on a laptop because the res is smaller and you can't click ahead.

Also, to the person who posted,
    HP - Pavilion Laptop / AMD A-Series Processor / 14" Display / 4GB Memory / 320GB Hard Drive - Pewter - g4-1215dx

thanks that's a great deal (you can also get the $150 touchpad) and I'm recommending that comp to a friend.

    ing SIIIIIIGH.

Okay, to answer future questions, this rig will not run skyrim. I was reccomended to High graphics, the dedicated alone should've done medium, but no. Even with the CPU OC in the OP, it runs about as ty as Witcher 2, if not more... I can run witcher 2 on poor graphics with AA, not at all with Skryrim.. So, if you want Skyrim and have this game... get it for console.. ugh.

I can see it in the device manager(as radeon 6600m series, the other one is listed as 6400m series), but it seems like that is far as it goes. i tried to update that specific car's driver by right clicking on device manager, but that only made amd catalyst listing the primary chipset as 6400m series rather than 6480g.

I don't know what to do, can somebody please help me? I literally scanned a hundred pages here with no luck :/

That's the laptop I've been wondering about.

when you right click the desktop, or go to the catalyst control panel, you don't have a switchable graphics option?

download amd system monitor and see which graphics chip your games run from
