new asus amd turion x2 laptop availability?

I read somewhere that asus is coming out with a new model that has an amd x2 turion cpu but can't find the article anymore. Anyways that laptop was pretty packed, had the 1.3 mega pixel camera and stuff.. Does anybody know the model number and availability of these laptops. I think I may get one for college.

nvm.. found the link but anyone know when they'll sell the z92t in america? I'm pretty interested in this laptop.

it will be at least another month for it to be in production. also, a lot of the amd based asus notebooks don't make it to the u.s., so i wouldn't get my hopes up....

Ouch. I'm waiting to see a Turion X2 with MIMO wireless and widescreen 14" or less. I've been waiting for a few months and can't wait too many more.

For what its worth we will have the new MSI-1058 which will be a 12" X2 Turion. Are you strictly looking for 14"?

Not 100% sure when they are comming out. Asus rep said they will be out 'very soon', and I know they will be as nearly all the other asus notebooks we sells (P-m and turion) have been given 'discontinued' status in the last few weeks. So the new ones will be in soon

No I'm OK with 12.1. Ideal would be like 13.3 but it's not a big deal.

The other thing I would really like is a MIMO wireless based on Airgo or better - this is strictly for range. But big range is a big deal for me. It makes such a huge difference, and I need to use the PC slot for other things. So far I've only seen MSI with "MSI wireless".

If I knew that I could upgrade the internal wireless later to MIMO I would be OK with that too, but I would think that involves adding antennas - which is not obvious that can be done. So this is why I was looking at the Asus forum - they already have announced MIMO internal wireless.
