Re: Eee PC 1215n Performance
Thanks, much appreciated

And I guess just as a data point for this thread, I was able to fix my font problem, had to manually reinstall all the fonts off of a Windows 7 USB installer I made...just in case anyone else comes across a similar problem, that was the only way I was able to fix it

Re: Eee PC 1215n Performance
For some reason, when I do the OC'ing of the CPU and downloading the app for the HDD, I cannot restart my computer without it not even turning off...and when I force shut it down and turn it back on, it won't boot up to the bios menu...the power light it on, but with no HDD activity, any help?

Re: Eee PC 1215n Performance
Well when I do that, it will boot up alright, but the problem persists when I want to restart the computer, I have to keep taking the battery out. Was this a permanent fix for you, meaning you could restart the computer normally with SETfsb on and the HDD app on after the power drain?

Re: Eee PC 1215n Performance
I read your other post and u say that even an overclock of 10mhz makes the gpu when taxed default to 400/800?
If that's definately the case then i can only summize that because you have the the lesser model gpu (8 cores vs the 16 in the 1215n) that also they may have lowered the power limits of the device - thus limiting it to stock clocks. Although i find it hard to believe that they would do this as accurate as to 10mhz.
My advice would be to just try a 1 mhz increase on the core only, see if it takes. If it doesn't then i'd try another driver.*THE BEAST* M17x R2 | I7 920xm | CF5870's@850/1200 1.06v | 8GB DDR3 | Crucial M4 256GB + 640GB HDD | BD-ROM | RGBLED WUXGA

Any of the AO gamers here found a solution for the acceleration problem yet?
