V6Va: motherboard issues in vista?
Hello NBR forums,
I'm using windows vista business edition on the V6Va. I have an Audigy 2 ZS NB and it causes complete system lag on my system. I'm wondering if this is actually an issue with the PCMCIA controller under vista, or just a sound driver issue. Has anyone else gotten this card to work under vista? Has anyone gotten sound to work at all under vista? The realtek drivers also cause the same total system lag under vista. Does vista have something against notebook users having sound???
Thanks,
Scoob

Re: V6Va: motherboard issues in vista?
well, there was a reason there weren't any vista capable certifications given out till August.... There may be issues, but a lot of them can be fixed with software updates... so if you're having a problem the first place to check with is Asus. They'll help you figure it out.

Re: V6Va: motherboard issues in vista?
ASUS hasn't released any software updates for the V6Va since fall last year, so no vista-compatible stuff from them. They also didn't reply the last time I sent a tech support inquiry (this is through the VIP program lol). The worst situation would be ASUS and Creative pointing fingers at each other...
