Re: Asus Vista 32/64 Drivers
Is anyone else getting wildly inaccurate battery life estimates? For some reason the Vista battery monitor always seems to say I have somewhere around 1.5 hours at full charge, when in reality it's closer to 3+...

Re: Asus Vista 32/64 Drivers
BisonCam Vista drivers (32bit and 64bit)
I have just found the drivers for my webcam. It is under the chinese Aser site but they work on my Vista 64bit Asus A7DC notebook with the 1.3Mb Bison webcam. Note is it called an Aser Orbicam in this driver.
The link to the bison, logitech &Suyin drivers page is: Driver page for some other Webcams with the Bison
The BisonCam (Orbicam) driver Zip file is:Bison Cam download all versions
The download was very slow for me when I did down load it but the files are complete. I can only vouch for the Bison though.
Once downloaded I unzipped, installed and rebooted.
You then need to edit the registry or download the attached txt file and rename to .reg, then double click to import it or add the following or save on notepad as a .reg file and imported:

(I found the above from another site by Ronak2032, thanks to him).
The camera then worked a treat except that it was upside down, so a quick vertical flip /rotation done the trick.
All sorted now for this one, just the ITE Asus Remote control 64bit Vista driver to find and I will be all done.
I hope this one helps you guys out. I also hope that now one driver has been built for this Cam, that other will follow including the official asus driver.
Good luck.

Re: Asus Vista 32/64 Drivers
My buttons to turn on/off wireless, bluetooth, adjust display, etc don't seem to be working on my V6J.
When I press the button to turn on/off wireless, tells me I need to install Intel Pro Utl.
I thought the ATK drivers where what i needed. Any ideas where I can download the ATK or HCONTROL drivers to get these hot buttons working again?V6J

Re: Asus Vista 32/64 Drivers
GizBug - You NEED to install the Intel ProSet utility, and sadly, no I don't. You can look through all the driver pages, but I only found the G1 which has the Vista version of ProSet. Not even Intel offers it on their website.
