I am experiencing quite similar problems, but not very noticeable, it started after I updated to the latest elantech drivers as well as the touchpad driver.

On my issue, I tried uninstalling the touchpad driver, and I guess I can confirm it is the problem vis a vis winamp, because when I run the Windows auto install driver there is no issue with winamp. I installed an old elantech driver from march or something, and the problem reoccurs. I am beginning to think the problem isn't the touchpad driver alone, but a combo with the new audio driver. I'll try to find the previous version of it and see. Anyone's got a link?

Here's the driver for Realtek Audio from a few months back. This one is R2.64.

Thanks, I will check it out later.

I found a thread on another forum btw, where they update the latest realtech drivers, it also has a running discussion on issues different users are experiencing. The noise/crackling issue seems to be a common problem with Realtech, some of the first posts regards this.

After some messing around trying to install the old realtech driver I give up, ended with issues of the "Windows auto driver install right after restart". I didn't bother finding out how you disable that, so never got to finish the reinstall. So now I'm running the latest drivers, and decided to start using iTunes when I'm not connected to a usb mouse. Even though I loath iTunes for its file sorting system.

Had a bit of crash today after running the latest WinUpdate as well, after returning from sleep I got a bluescreen saying something about a memory error (no time to read all). Afterwards I had to run windows startup repair and system restore in order to get the laptop going again, for a moment I was afraid my RAM chip had kicked the bucket. Dunno if this is a issue with some new windows update, I'm going to wait a while before installing those again for sure.

Hi everybody, I need your help.... I bought my Asus N43SN from a MercadoLibre dealer and it's ok, (only lacks of Bluetooth). But when I try a Recovery from the hard drive (F9) it install "Windows 7 Home Basic OA China". Precisely my forgotten language . Ok I have a few questions:

    - Can I change the language or the Os version in the Recovery Partition? or a batch to change it when installed? It's because Home Basic can't be upgraded.

    - Can someone upload the Driver DVD please?. It could be useful when reinstall the Os.

    Thanks for your help!!!!!

You cannot modify the recovery partition. Why does it even give you Home Basic? It should come with Home Premium by default.

As for drivers, the links to the latest drivers are on the first post. Download them and save them to a thumbdrive if you want to reformat your computer.

Hi. I can't seem to connect to my wireless anymore. I can connect to my wireless with other computers, and to other wireless services with this computer so I'm not sure what the problem might be. Anyone got any tips for what I might do?

First, try with another wireless network if you have that possibility.

It solved it self by restarting the router, even though I've restarted it several times over the last few days to no effect. Strange, but it's at least working now.
