hey guys I'm just wondering if its possible to actually use something like a 1866 RAM on the n53sn. Coz when I pumped the BIOS I see no place to change your RAM speed & V etc

It's possible to change RAM frequency by BIOS mod, but not Voltage.

Didn't you upgrade your RAM to 16Gb 1866MT/s Kingston HyperX? Or do you mean to actually have it @1866MT/s? Btw, what kind of CPU do you have?

Oh wait, so does this go back to the part where you said to use the AMIBCP? Couldn't find em'. So even if I found em, how do I set it to 1866?

lol, probably my bro said that. He gave me the laptop and flew outstation. I reformat all the things in the laptop and then realized he already upgraded the RAM. But then I found out that it was not fully utilized (if that's right?).

And yes, this is me hijacking my bro's account. =D

edit: he posted bout that ram thing earlier eh? haha. i wonder he knew that it was probably a waste of money to buy such expensive RAM.

So, let me get this straight, you've got 16GB now, at what, 1333MT/s (666MHz). Right?
