Thanks for the guide! Does anyone have any idea why Asus Live Updater won't "download" anything? It says there are updates for a couple programs but when I go to download, nothing happens..

For me the 265.66 are almost the same as 263.03 in 3dmark06 n 3dmark11, 50 more points in 06 n 7 less points in 11, either way both with in runs margin of error, but im keeping them no reason to go back atm, will try it on games.

Cool, i'm going to install those drivers very soon, just got my g73jw a week ago. Also just wondering, I've had some problems with my screen, seems to have happened when I purchased a HDMI 1.4 cable. The problem in particular is that the g73jw's hannstar screen goes completely red/blue (even on startup with ASUS bios screen) and sometimes a 16 bit color overlay on the desktop. Just wondering if anyone else has had those problems (i've googled everywhere).

Edit: I've found out that it might indeed be a problem with the screen itself, people have been referring it to the "PSOD" which makes sense since it does flicker red/blue. However, it's only done it twice now and currently it's working perfectly.. :S

265.66 are great in games, who cares about benchmarks. Bfbc2 is running awesome with these, same performance as those new quadro drivers i was using, so seems these drivers have the gpu utilization fixes on them good stuff nvidia.

Hey guys quick question about removing the older nvidia drivers. Can someone give me a quick step by step procedure of how to do it.

Do you still need to use CCleaner and DriverSweeper to clean out the registry? Last time I tried uninstalling my 260.99 driver I did used CCleaner and DriverSweeper on safemode and after reinstalling the new drivers, I had no sound..

Unfortunately, it is a worthless piece of software and is worthy of being deleted/removed from your system. It doesn't do anything. Plus, you can go to Asus to download whatever you may need/want.

So I just uninstall the old 260.99 and then install the new 265.66 driver and without using CCleaner and Driver cleaner? OR just install the 265.66 without uninstalling and it will replace it automatically?

    Thanks in advance!

I recommend you do the CCleaner and Driver cleaner before you install the 265.66 because 260.99 was a nvidia made driver and you'd use CCleaner and Driver cleaner when you upgrade from any nvidia made drivers. Once you are done installing 265.66, since it's ASUS made driver, you can just go ahead and uninstall that without CCleaner and Driver cleaner when it's time to upgrade from 265.66 to a newer version.

Thanks, i'm at work right now and can't check but does the asus 265.66 driver also have HD Audio driver? Asking because afraid that I might lose sound again like last time after uninstalling 260.99, and ended up doing a fresh install.
