My notebook have H-L Data Storage Super Multi DVD Rewriter Model GT32N. According to these sites, it is 12.7mm height:-
Hitachi/LG GT32N 8x DVD±RW DL Notebook SATA Drive (Black) HL Data Storage 0622198-038 GT32N
12.7mm Internal DVD-RW Drive
HDD in caddy should work in this notebook & they should work in SATA 2 speed (if you put SATA 2 HDD). I was going to test this last month since I'm getting 128GB SSD for free but I forgot to buy the caddy. LOL. Re: Asus K42JV/A42JV Owners Lounge
I hate to necro such an old thread but I need help. My friends speakers aren't working and I have a sinking feeling it is because the audio cables lead in to the motherboard is arranged wrong. I know that the audio hookup is in the lower left portion of the bottom image but I can't make out the order of the cables. (In the photo above, it is under the yellow flap of tap)
Is there someone who can assist me with this? I just need the order of the connections starting from the left with the motherboard shown as above. Thanks!
