Hi, thx u80v is a 14" , with dedicated grapics. Im looking for a laptop like ul30 , but a backlit keyboard is pretty appealing, and oh yeah, I need long batterylife , like 8 hours , as the timeline and asus has. u80v has a powerful processor and takes up energy.

oh sorry i had thot it is an 13 incher. like u, a backlit keyboard is a must for me so that's y i settled for U20A. Else, UL30 would have been my choice

It's not a "waste" at all. It's geared toward people who are looking for a compact light notebook with good battery life. Too bad you do not have any idea what you are talking about..

I wish I could find one with the SU9400, or at least SU3500. School starts tomorrow and I'm still waiting. Guess I'm going to have to buy something else.

Not all of us run Windows, either.... It would be a 'netbook' for me.

The B1 model launches in a few days with Win7. I haven't heard anything about other new models.

There was no SU7300 on the original specs and it is 1.3GHz (100MHz slower), so it may replace the SU9400.

saying that the battery just last 3 hrs against the spec that it should last

havent really tested it out but when i mouse over the battery icon it shows about 5 hrs
