Re: *Official ASUS W90Vp Owners' Lounge*
I am reading of between 15% and 25% boosty in games for the 9.6 drivers over the 9.4s
Is this a substantiated claim? and is it looking possible to get the 9.6s modded for the W90s?

Re: *Official ASUS W90Vp Owners' Lounge*
if the cards are the exact same i see no reason for the issue....
and the Xfire is handed through the MOBO correct?
if so ATI drivers might be having issues because of that

Re: *Official ASUS W90Vp Owners' Lounge*
all that stuff has been tried Moo like doing what E-wrecked did etc but what im wondering is if anyone has tried the Windows 7 RTM(retail) client yet since they changed something from the beta releases of Win7 for xfire and the official ATI mobility drivers.

Re: *Official ASUS W90Vp Owners' Lounge*
the problem is like all ati cards is the slave card.
according to what i see and my experience from the Ocz Whitebook(i know it doesn't have the same problem as the w90) but the main problem that i had was installing drivers to the slave card. it wasn't easy. mainly in windows 7 RC 7100 and up. i heard this issue is fixed but now on the w90 of course. and i heard it gives different errors.
i would like to dianose this issue with you all but i know that many people before me that has better knowlegde of what's going on has tried this but to no avail, it hasn't worked.
have any one tried different bios, since the M/M seemed to work for 9.4 has anyone tried the 4850 from the M17 or the Msi GT725??????????
if the device id is causing the problem or something deeper then that, then maybe the a different type of bios(the way the card is read) may fix this?HTC Droid Incredible
Motorola Droid X
WTB Very Cheap Gaming Laptop...
256Bit Bus would be nice....

Re: *Official ASUS W90Vp Owners' Lounge*
no one wanted to try that when i brought it up back then...because it was the 4850 and not a 4870
this will probably still hold true today, im afraid...M18X R2 | I7 3940XM | GTX 680M SLI | 2 Vertex 4 256 GB Raid 0 | Vertex 4 512 GB | Msata 240 GB | DVD | 16 GB 2133 Mhz |
