I think you'll find in the last several pages that the 10.3 drivers have been a big success since there has been a lot of work on mobile support and crossfire. Maybe some other owners can quickly comment on how it's working out for them if they haven't already.

i use gpu-z. it shows various temps for memory gpu etc. you can switch the card you want to see.

yeah, just one. I didn't try gpu-z because it usually locks up my computer forcing a hard reboot.

My primary card sits around 57C and secondary about 10 degrees less with just normal use. I would consider that to be well within normal operating temps.

Like mentioned above 60c @ desktop is a perfectly acceptable temperature (with about 85c being the max load temp IMO).

Im debating ordering some copper heat sinks off ebay and sticking them on my primary gpu, just worried that if i use AS5 ceramic that it might take the paint off with them in case I have to warranty again.

after some days of play testing the new 10.3 ati mobile driver i didnt have any serious problems. every tested game (metro2033, left4dead2, battlefield bc2, borderlands, gta4 ...) is running stable and fast. i just have some flickering in metro2033 in the begining video and in the end scene of the game and in bad company2 with the windows and the weapon models. i think this flickering is because of the crossfire. do you have the same experiences?

What is a fair offer for an A1? I'm looking to sell mine. There were a few issues with my laptop (the video card problem), but I sent my laptop in for RMA a month or two ago and due to S&H, the side got smashed in. So I just sent it back to get fixed, and now they are awaiting a new screen. I'm pretty sure everything will be fixed, well, hopefully after this RMA. If not, the warranty runs I believe until mid-August.

Anyways, the reason I want to unload this laptop is not because of the RMA issues, but simply because I just bought an HDTV and a PS3. So now I use media server to stream all my movies to my PS3 and the PS3 provides more than enough gaming for me... Especially since I moved out into a apartment that can only provide DSL and the connection is absolute **** for online games.

PM me if you have any offers. I live in Minnesota and will ship it out or it can be available for pick-up if you live near me.
