Please put the videos on youtube I cant download them

and for the mobility issue. I think this notebook is mainly for a desk replace but sometimes it comes handy when you can move it into the school or a trip etc. So i i think 15.4 is the perfect size for this notebbok.

If you care about the size go to a bestbuy and check it. ITs not so big nor heavy. Qosmio f55 is much bigger and ooooh very very ugly. Like a plastic toy from the 80s

    Thanks Vicious!

Just out of curiosity, what's it like without your Zalman cooler? Is it a lot hotter?

Yeah I agree with that, I actually just saw it in person yesterday. The size didn't seem too bad, even though on paper the dimensions look ridiculous. I'm assuming that I'll be okay with the size and mobility of the G50 if I thought the F55 wasn't too bad.

I never use it without the cooler because I just like to keep my laptop off surfaces to keep it clean and need the tilt to type comfortably.

However the zalmans is not a very high end cooler when it comes to cooling performance its just a very very small airflow so I would assume temps to be only 2c or so hotter without it.

That big vent opening on the bottom probably makes this laptop work well with a cooler tho.

For those wanting the Intel wifi link 5300 card Dell has them for $79.99 :

    In this picture: http://www.gentechpc.com/Asus/G50V/2.jpg
It looks like you can swap the wireless cards pretty simple.

Go here for the technical pdf's on the 5100/5300 series wifi cards: http://support.intel.com/support/wir...5000series.htm

Let us know if anyone tries this mod.

    Thanks
