Hi, I'm new here but I was wondering if any of you guys have the details of what is bundled in the box.

I wanted to confirm that it contains the same as this pic publised on Global Site

Apparently it contains 3 cases, 1 hard, 1 soft and the sleeve cloth little bag.

here in france I got exactly the same stuff
- leather bag (very nice indeed, still it lacks a third compartment)
- hard case (pretty useless, it's like a jewelbox)
- soft case (very useful to put the lappy in a luggage)
- light sleeve (might be useful also)
- leather mouse pad (awesome, the touch of class)
- mouse bag

not forgetting the real accessoiries, especially the docking station !

indeed, the package is noting else but gorgeous

Hello, can you guys tell me is there any similar problems on VX2s like on V1s? I mean battery problem, Touchpad, Speakers. This laps seems to be a lot similar. And what about screen? Generally speaking, what are the cons of this lap? Thanks!

I have a V1S and a vx2s. Machines are similar but not identical :
- v1s has a matte screen, xv2s is
- touchpad are not identical

battery problem ? speakers problem ?

imho :
- any battery problem is a support / warranty problem
- don't expect to get top-notch speakers on a BUSINESS notebook (V1S)
- I never use speakers on any laptop, either spdif out or headphones

Battery wear problem - i warry about this problem might be on vx2s too..

About screen. V1s has matte one? and vx2s? Can you take some fotos to see the differense, please?

Photos of a screen won't be verry relevant. VX2S screen is glossy (at least on the model we have). The overall quality seems very good, image is sharp and colorful, and more "luminous" than the V1S matte screen (which is ok, but not overwhelming)

your link points to V1S product spec on asus website, not to "battery wear problem"

humm i'm not using nhc on that laptop (I wav on my V6V) because i don't think acpi conf is available for the vx2s, so i don't know my wear level.

Yeah! I hope I can get it on september, here in the US the ETA for A2B is on 09/05
