G55VW owners screen quality question
The default screen of these bad boys is the 1080p fullhd super clear matte type screen right. Now i've had bad experience with matte screens like the thinkpad t420 or the vaio s13 and they are so pixelated and grainy.
My question is before i pull the trigger on a g55, how is the matte screen quality of it? What is the contrast ratio and gamut percent of it? Is the display vivid and accurate? Is it grainy or pixelated like the t420 or the sony vaio s?
Thanks

Re: G55VW owners screen quality question
Very few people buy the G55 it was the same with the G53SX you might need to wait a while before you get a reply.
The screen is going to be very similar if not identical to the G75 in terms of gamut brightness contrast etc if it is the same make most likely just smaller.

Asus G55VW - user review and owners lounge
Not exactly the best display if your standards are high. Yet, it's decent.
792:1 contrast ratio
Review Asus G55VW-S1020V Notebook - Notebookcheck.net Reviews
I can't say much about those other laptops.Asus has chosen a matte TN panel from LG Phillips (with the model name LP156WF1) for the Asus G55VW-S1020 with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution and the standard 16:9 aspect ratio. Interestingly, the German model G55VW-S1073V is equipped with a different panel (LGD02D9), which is brighter but has a lower contrast ratio. In other words, two different models do not necessarily have the same panel."I knew this was a bad idea, but in the continued absence of any good ones I thought I might as well run with it."
