Question about new ASUS G75

Hello. My old G73JW broke down with one month left on the warranty. After been in repair for few weeks they said I will either get money back or a new laptop. I dont know if I should choose money or get a new one (i dont know the specs yet). So I wonder if I should get the ASUS with the 670m or will ASUS soon release a new upgraded GPU?

There is a G75 660M version, but not worldwide.

I think Nvidia will keep 670M and 675M on the market a little longer since a similar Kepler would make those cards kinda obsolete for many end users. Already many are waiting for Kepler.

I'm not sure what's the stock they've got. It would be easy to release a card based on 660M with performance between those two, but it's not how this works.

'Till then, I have one G75 with 670M. At any moment there will be a new better card just around the corner. 670M on G75 overclocks nicely to 675M performance with very little extra heat. Mine works around 70°C.

I can compare the G75 670M with G55 660M. Both are just warm, no heat problems. Battery on G55 is a little better, 2.5h versus 2h on G75. Under load both are the same, 1h. Both have a 180W power brick.

I know people say why buy an old Fermi, why not 680M, why not 660M. Well, 680M Clevo option is about double the price I've paid for this G75 brand new. We don't have a G75 with 660M, but I got a G55 with one. The G75 has better perfomance and was cheaper.

How G75 with gtx670 run in gams like BF3 or Witcher2?

So the G75 will come with a 675m graphic card? When is that?
