G73jw crashes

I bought a g73jw about a year and abit ago
i7-740qm
8gb ram
500x2 gb hd
geforce gtx 460m 1.5 gb ram

It used to run smooth, very quite and as far as I recall kept on cool temperatures mostly.
I updated my bios a while ago and ed it up, resaulting in using my RMA and they replaced my motherboard.
I formatted the computer after it returned and I updated the bios correctly to 205 and it used to crash and do some weird sometimes. After the bios update the fans make much more noise, and the computer seems to overheat I think. After a while the computer didn't function well in games, not giving me good performance. I installed Skyrim and it was nearly unplayable even when I got the video setting low.
I formatted it again a few days ago and it seemed to work better.
Once in a while it still crashes.
So what I wanted to ask is how do I fix the crashes, and I'd like to run a video test that will check my temperatures and my graphic performance, which program will be best for that? oh, another issue that I got is that after the format it won't recognize one of the HDs

First, you want to check you temps when doing something intensive like playing a game. You can use HWmonitor or HWiNFO64 to check your temps.

Is the HDD detected in the bios and if you have access to another computer or a drive enclosure, use it to test your HDD for bad sectors and such.

That's my idle stats, are they reasonable?
I can see the second harddrive in the bios. It won't show in Disk Management tho.
How is that program that runs graphic tests on your comp called? (the popular one)

Tijo I didn't understand the last part, what do you mean drive enclosure and how do I test my unrecognized HD with a different computer?

Your CPU idle temps are alright, your GPU idle temps are quite high, i'd clean the vents with some canned air for starters.

By enclosure, i mean something like this: Newegg.ca - Vantec NexStar TX 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive/SSD Enclosure - Model NST-210S2-BK. Basically, you can put a 2.5" HDD inside it to use as an external drive. Your questions means you don't have one though so forget that part.

If you have a desktop and a SATA cable available, you can connect the drive to your desktop and see if you can access it, alternatively you could try a gparted live cd or a parted magic cd too to see if you can access the drive.

If you want to stress test your video card, i'd say use furmark and run burn test. Monitor your temps closely though, this will force your GPU to run at 100% usage so it will get hot fast.

My proccessor temps reached 100, 94, 99, 92 while in game
isn't that over the edge?
Aslo, I', running furmark now, and i notice that only from the right vent exit theres air flow coming out, the left one has no flow from it (right and left when i sit infront of the screen)
What is the best way to clean a notebook from dust without damaging it?

Right is the GPU fan, left is the CPU fan, 100C it toasty for the CPU as in way too hot, to hit that i have to push mine hard with the overclock.

if i dont get air flow in the left exit does that mean that the vent doesnt work?
how do i check the vent performance?
