Im sorry, but HP makes elitebooks, dell sell the inspiron line and precision/latitude, asus goes to college with their A series and go business with their B series , lenovo makes ideapads as well as thinkpads, toshiba makes their A series as well, while doing portegé, sony makes the Z while making the C.

Point being, I can drop thinkpad X1 from a 3 storey height and it will still work, while if I do that with ideapad y570p, only dust will be left out.

Thus that ''research'' is far from what we can call anything a research, they didnt teach basic statistics for those who created that abomination.

btw the elitebook W is one of the best workstations out there, packing a 6970m/M8900, and the best screen in the mobile market the dream color 2 (yes its miles ahead of what most companies use, even the high end options like the 95% gamut AUO screen), built quality is going to be leaps and bounds better

EDIT: according to allyourgroceries the B series has a different chassis, and is deemed as such of good quality, I never defy a man that points a gun to a kitten

You forgot to mention that Dell also makes Alienware.

Incorrect, the B series is not on the same chassis as A/K/X series models. The B series is actually very well built.

I have serviced B series laptops and I can assure you they have better build quality than their mainstream offerings. They come with a 3 year warranty standard too. I was impressed enough to buy my mom a B43 and it has been trouble free.

Agree with both of these users.

It's why i'm an ASUS re-seller. (Used to resell: Dell, HP, IBM, MSI white-books) ASUS has the lowest failure and return rate that we've ever dealt with.

Our most popular units are the B and N series

So again, before i got told to not buy ASUS, anyone with a ASUS G75 with a 670M card, can you confirm if it's soldered or screwed to the MB? I've heard the 660m is screwed still unsure on the 670m.
Also I do like the M18x but i would also like to play some 3D games and i believe only the M17x offers 3d.
    Thank you
