Asus ROG G55 & G75 in April with gtx 670m

I guess they dont have them in stock yet. What gpu you ordered? Mine form xoticpc with 660 will be shipping in early may. But the models with 670 in mid may. I believe newgg, TD and xoticpc are similar sellers, and will get g series in same time.

Tigerdirect had them in stock on Thursday May 3, 2012.

That's when my order was shipped, and I ordered back on April 30th.


What possibly may have happened is that they sold out their allotment -- I noticed that they were flying off of Amazon via. Circuit City (CC & TD same merchandise basically).

You may want to call in to TD, or Chat with a Sales rep -- they can advise you on when you may expect your order to be shipped.

My G75VW-TS72 is slated to be delivered Monday, May 7 -- wish I knew overnight shipping was an option via phone -- I'd of had my G75 in hand by now lol.

The 670m is about the same power as the 6970m

GTX670M is roughly 50% as powerful as an HD7970M. Depends a bit which game etc. For example 3dmark vantage GPU score for GTX670M is around 11100 while it's about 22000 for HD7970M. (source: notebookcheck.net).

I asked for it but I already ordered the Model G55VW-S1024V with SSD (mSATA) + HDD (See specs here).
The reseller waits for DHL to pick it up on Monday.
I can tell you about it (maybe with pictures) on Tuesday or Thursday (I will not be at home on Wednesday).

Most of the time, some drivers from Asus site won't install correctly.... And where is that THX Studio???
