And heres a screenshot of GPU-z, Inspector and 3dmark11 with 826/1651/1650.

Clearly the voltage has changed like its shown in gpu-z. I have yet to test '06 and other things, also i may try to increase it toward 830/1660.

Ive tried 850/1700/1600 but it recoverys, thats my wall. If im doing my math right, i should be able to push it toward 830.

    Thanks again mate, +REP obviously
Your new score is lower than the score in your sig?

Please explain how you can confirm that the voltage has increased? As I have already mentioned I dont think it has and from what you have shown it hasn't. I said very clearly on the other page:

''The voltage will show under all hardware informative programs as being what you have to set it to in the Vbios but it will not actually be using the voltage that you have specified, it will revert to the nearest available hardwired voltage profile''

Have the temps increased? that is the most noticable difference.

Before people start jumping on the Dallers is a 460M hater bandwagon I am here to look at facts to prevent people flashing and bricking their cards on information that is not correct. This is one of those occasions. If this was confirmed 100% I would be switching to an SW and many others would as well which is a clear sign why it is not.

Asus GTX460M has 3 voltage settings in its vbios

    00:0.8125v
    01:0.9125v
    02:0.9625v

So I shifted the value in the picture I attach.

Besides, Asus 560M also has 3 voltage settings
    00:0.8125v
    01:0.8125v
    02:0.9625v
And Asus version GTX560M already run @ setting02. It seems impossible to overvolt through vbios mod.

Thank you so just to confirm you have used one of the hardwired settings in the Vbios not actually changing the voltage.

I think that is where the confusion is so people know you are not changing the voltage just changing the voltage profiles.

Same as the JH we have 2 - 0.95v and 1.15v. You cannot change the voltage past what Asus have wired it to.

I'm just showing that I'm able to keep those clocks, I couldn't before Dallers.
And thats a thing I know for sure, also voltage reading changed as well.
I'm not jumping at you or else, I know what limits I had before, that score can be beaten I know it
Either way it works and I'm happy.

Edit: Dallers check previous 3dmark11 run above, 2413 I ain't wrong.
Don't bother with latest run as I didn't even rebooted my system yet and Im storming between 100 things together
Also yes, max temp increased. Was about 83c under 3dmark11 now it goes up to 85c.

This is quite interesting though even though the voltage is not being changed from what SVL7 has just said to me (below) that what Saltius has done means that it is after all still an extra boost in your core performance. Another bonus for Nvidia while we ATI ppl suffer is that you have this additional setting.

    Boooo haha!

The fury for what Asus have done to the voltage runs deep. I have 40oC to play with before meltdown and we are all stuck at a pitiful voltage.

    So... agreed +1 to Saltius!

This should work, as long as the card accepts this setting. I didn't think about this... when you look at the VBIOS there are no "fermi style" voltage entries like in the 470m, 485m etc. ... but it has indeed an additional voltage setting, just like the VBIOS of the 555m in the M14x.

Saltius also modded the VBIOS of the 555m and explained me some things about it, if the voltage regulator of the card can read the higher value, it'll work.

The only thing which got changed in the JW VBIOS is the entry at offset CCD9 (01 to 02, 01 applies to the standard voltage and 02 to the other voltage which can be found in the VBIOS).

I'll tell my buddy to flash it on his G73JW, I'm sure he's eager to try it. I can easily recover the card from a bad flash.

You should be fine flashing it, the additional voltage should be fine for another 60-80MHz on the core (only on the core, the memory voltage isn't affected).

Okay so i rebooted but i have time only for a 3dmark06 run.

    Again clocks 825/1650/1650:

This should nail any doubt now
I confirm that 830/1660/1650 crashes the driver. I could try 830/1650/1600 but i dont have time for now.

What increase is that over your stock clocks, if what is mentioned above is right you should be able to get a good increase on your core/shader as long as you dont touch the memory.

If 560M users can do this as well it could push the 560M core into the higher 900's.

SALTIUS! could you take a look at the G73JH Vbios when you have a moment please!

We have no additional voltage setting though unfortunetely. But unless someone beats me to it I will post it up when I get home.

I like kingpinzero would be a lot happier if my Core was at 850 instead of 825
