Re: G74SX 560m (192 Bit) Overclocking results & Temps
so i recently purchased a malibal P151HM1 which has the 1.5 GTX560M, with the latest firmware and on stock clocks i scored a P2203 and when i tried the 900/1800/1625 it actually dropped to P2180... little surprised by the results. in both tests the max temp was 73C. any ideas?

Re: G74SX 560m (192 Bit) Overclocking results & Temps
Ran 920 setting again, did better hit 2600's probably because the CPU went to 2793 Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,ASUSTeK Computer Inc. G74Sx score: P2616 3DMarks
Ran 930/1840/1625 not a big gain, not really worth it IMO
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,ASUSTeK Computer Inc. G74Sx score: P2648 3DMarks
(BTW still no Throttle stop, previous runs only stayed at 2594 Mhz)

Re: G74SX 560m (192 Bit) Overclocking results & Temps
nevermind afterburner just didnt load the right clock speeds... so at 920/1840/1625 im getting around P2600...
I tried bumping it up to 950 but i started to get flickering and artifacts... so i had to bring it back down... whats weird is my system stock max temp is 74C but even at 920/1840/1625 the max temp is still 74... i noticed that yalls asus are staying cool around 60C thats crazy i guess my setup for cooling doesnt have much head room... i dont want to go over 80C right?

Re: G74SX 560m (192 Bit) Overclocking results & Temps
I've been doing a little overclocking on mine. I cant believe how cool this runs compared to my old G53sx. Even clocked to 920+ core it sits nicely around 65 - 67 degrees. Where as my 460m clocked to around 800mhz would be around 85 to 88 degrees. Its just shows you how good the cooling is. or improved lower wattage the 560m is.
My G74sx is running Witcher 2 alot smoother than the G53 ever could. I hope it can handle Skyrim which is really what I got it for....Tower PC: i5-2500k @ 4.8 Ghz, 16GB 1600Mhz Ram, GTX 570 frozr iii, Force 3 120GB + Momentus XT 500GB.
