I did it like 1 day ago (same thing) on "Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller". Is that ok? (Cuz you said another thing)

Yeah, it is ok, the name of the SATA controller is different for series 5 and series 6 chipsets as well as for desktop and laptop chipsets. The important thing is that you update the Intel AHCI controller's drivers.

    Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone else having this problem with power4gear hybrid in which the brightness setting cant be saved and the "turn off display after ... min" no longer works.
I reinstalled to the latest version 1.1.50 but that doesnt seem to solve the problem.
p.s. turn off display feature works fine without P4G. but with P4G it only works on windows lock screen.

    Thanks for looking

That wouldn't happen to be Lannigan would it?
I just happen to be looking for his post about a bios mod when I saw this.
Wouldn't happen to have a link to his thread would you?

After reinstalling my fans dont work, dont move at all. They worked fine before reinstalling so doubt there is problem with to much dust.
Any one got a tip besides taking it apart and clean the fans?

Hey, just something you might wanna look at. You mention that the G53 has the Azurewave NB037, while mine has an Atheros AR9002WB, which is also a G53. I did some searching and ended up finding drivers on a czech website.

    1. Hotfixes

First things first, on the G73SW driver CD there were six recommended Microsoft Hotfixes for Win7 x64. They are uploaded here:
    Hotfixes
Install them one by one. After installing them all, reboot. (No need to reboot after each hotfix.)

Is it good for G53SW too?

Wow, impressive guide! I just picked up a used G53SW and I'm curious how up to date the first post has been kept?

    Thanks!
