I did this and got to step 3, it can't detect that I have an Nvidia graphics card.. ?
Its version 275.33 i'm trying too.

You need a modified inf for the driver since our hardware id is not listed in the verde notebook driver set.
You can find the modified inf over laptopvideo2go.
Extract the nvidia driver the overwrite the file in the Display.Display folder.

Just to add if your adding a sata 3 drive, don't install the Intel RST drivers. They will keep your drive in Sata II mode. Instead install the mircosoft achi driver in IDE controllers. I had a mission trying to get my ocz vertex to stay in sata III mode and in the end it was the intel rapid storage driver.

That depends on the driver itself. The modded part is just the inf needed to install a particula card not supported by the driver.
Usually newer drivers are better than older ones for various reasons, so a modded inf helps installing those on the gpus not supported by the set itself.
