    Default GPU clock speed

Is it normal my GPU engine clock sit at 405Mhz? I got the ATi 5870M. I though it should sit at 700mhz.

With PowerPlay enabled, it's downclocked to save power. Turn off PowerPlay or do something graphics-intensive (like a 3D game) and you'll see the clock go to 700MHz.

Yes. It clocks up to 700 when it needs it like during gaming.
