Default Just Repasted--- !!!

Just repasted. watched the video one time and said meh whatever...
never done any computer work on a laptop but i figured this thing is broken anyway

have a few screws left over....

i repasted the GPU with a pea on the heatsink of IC diamond 7

cleaned the fan filters


I was idling at 78-81

Right now an hour after paste i am stable at 54 !!!!!!!!!! clocks at 700/1000

81 - 54 = 27 degree change


now my GSODing on all drivers even stock...

What do you mean by "few screws left over" ???
And you mean now you GSOD on all drivers or you don't have anymore GSOD?

always had gsod on all drivers... thats just me though
finished the job and still had a few screws ahaha,,, i dunno whatever its going smooth at 54 right now

It's probably just some random screws the Asus design engineers decided to throw in as extras. Nothing to worry about I'm sure.......................
Sorry I can't stop the sarcasm. Good job on the repaste, missing screws aside. As soon as my warranty is up I'll be doing the same.

forgot to unhook that little thin under the keyboard they said would break if not undone carefully... but somehow it survived...

now idling at 52... stuff seems to be getting better


--> is my warranty voided now????

ambient = australia = hot.... probably 25/26 in day... 11-15 at night.
idled at 51 in day, 49 now at night

anyway after i let it et for 3 hours now i am idling at 49

update ran 3dmark06 used to hit 105 easy now max was 69
3D MARK SCORE stock clocks 13168 3DMarks thats a 2000 increase over my overheating version on 10.7a , 705/1100, when i actually finished it one time
