Yes, of course it's a downgrade. My point was that I don't think it's exactly going to make the Jx "crap," you know? Jx buyers will also be paying slightly less, right?

Well, I hate to bring the bad news but the 150w PSU didn't help with the 0x124 BSoD we are having.

I did kinda feel the game ran a tad bit better though, but that was most probably because I hadn't played it in a long while.

Anyways, we have to keep working on this thing. Power is not an issue so we can scratch that. Someone else said it could be something about the graphics card RAM? Maybe we could reduce the clocks a bit or something?

No, i don't think that reducing the clocks would help, cause I am overclocking it to 585/1463/950 in XP with no problems at all

its not the clocking persa`, its the way windows7 uses the ram to work on programs.

asus and their drivers. you'll never see them. once the new model is released, the older model support becomes less important.

ive always gone to the driver source, intel/nvidia have always had better server than asus or hp that said, they stopped carrying XP drivers anyway.

another 2 days and no word on the RMA. anyone know anything different from the mid-late january release date for the jx? gonna wait til the 10th and try and negotiate a replacement.

what about the furmark+prime95 cpu locking? that could explain the increase.
