You won't break 14k with a Q9000 2.53GHz and GTX 260M. You would need to crank the GPU clocks very high, and I don't think your GPU can handle it because it lacks the additional power lanes on the MXM connector.

I've been pretty happy with the 186.81 so far, they're very solid. Don't know if I want to mess with drivers right now. I'll give the 13k a shot after my copper blocks get here and I overvolt the GPU.

lol, dont think of the gtx 260m as too weak, me and joker can make it up there if we try...just a lil overvolting on the GPU, but im too much of a cat to do that. my Q9000 @ 2.50 GHz scores ~3700 ptz on cpu.

just needa boost my gpu scores, see in my vista, i get 5400/5300 while joker gets 5850/5600. xp will give me that boost to 13K, then raise teh clocks to maybe 625/1000/1650 when i overvolt. ofc will needa drop my ambient to 50F so that my gpu survives haha

the GPU is missing an extra bit that helps transfer power from the MOBO to teh card itself to help stabilize it at high clocks. So overvolting most likely won't help very much anyways.

Well, I'll have someone else's backplate, so I'm expecting drops to 78C, fans shut off, I climb back up to 86, and the process repeats.

Which gives more room for overclocking. Happy, oh so happy.
