Is it a peltier usb fridge? If I had money to blow and lots of time, I'd want to mod one of those TEC based usb fridges and put it inside a laptop. Condensation would be the biggest issue to worry about but there's ways around that too.

Yes, it is a peltier fridge. The radiator and fan on the bottom was a dead giveaway. Yes, condensation is a an issue when active refrigeration is used to rapidly lower temperature.

I just put a northbridge heatsink in the fridge to test it out. My room temperature is 20*C with an RH of 62% and the baseplate of the fridge was already beginning to dew after a few minutes. However, according to my temp gun, the heatsink got to a chilly 9.2*C after a minute after taking it out of the box.

Once the backpanels get back in stock again I fully plan to go all out modding mine. =p and I want a USB fridge! :O

You should have picked one up when Xoxide was liquidating it's inventory. They had it for sale for $6 and the flexikeyboard I also got was going for $9.

Hey forge could you do me a favor? I don't have access to a screw driver (I'm in a hotel atm) and I was wondering if you could take pictures of the speaker placements the next time you open up your system? I'm not sure if they are exposed when you take the bottom cover off, if not then no biggie.
