Can best buy trace a stolen Notebook from a shipment? Its a New VAIO for 5oo bucks... Still in the BoX!

Just to speak from a LEGAL perspective:

If you KNOWINGLY buy stolen merchandise, you are just as legally responsible as someone selling the stolen merchandise. Both of you can go to court for it if caught and possibly jail (depending on other factors).

Yeah unless you want the police knocking on your door you should never knowingly by stolen merchandise. Not only is it illegal but it is VERY unethical.
