at which i replied the condition thinking it was a serious buyer then the next email gave it away:

I'm a UK citizen and i want to buy this item for my SON who is studying in college in Lagos , West Africa.How much are you selling the item including shipping and handling fees via USPS Global Express Mail EMS. Do you accept Western Union Money Transfer? Get back to me soon

thing is i and probably others would have fallen more into it if the buyer isnt so absurd to say im living in uk and my son is in africa who wants the laptop haha, although it sucks for the very few people who really do have that situation or similar ha

can anyone tell me why this is a scam?

i've never done any online buying/selling before

all i know is never sell or buy from someone from africa, china, or nevada

well thing is alot of times they think they get the money they make like fake paypal accounts and make it look like there giving you money just gotta be careful.
