For Sale: Apple iPod MINI, 4GB/2nd Gen, Blue

I have a Blue Apple iPod MINI up for sale.
It's storage capacity is 4GB and it is a Second Generation model.
Nota bene, it is only the unit itself plus the OEM belt clip.
However, you may request the OEM charger and USB 2.0 cable for a small additional price.
I have used it for only TWO charge cycles, and everything is fully operational.
NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH.

Since this is practically a new unit, I would like to sell it for $140 dollars USD.

I accept cash, money order, and check.

If so desired, I will fill the iPod with album/song requests from my vast collection (PM).
Also, If so desired, I'll link to cooresponding manuals, hardware, and software.

Make sure you try some other iPod/Mac related forums as well to sell this one in; there are still people out there that really desire the original mini (although a lot of that was because of the aluminum case), so you should definitely not have trouble finding someone who will be interested.

Some more info for prospective buyers:

The original retail price for this item in February 2005 was $249,99.
It is a part of a discontinued line, and may very well become a valuable collectible in the near future.

Currently, the new iPod nano at 2GB capacity is being sold for 149.99 plus tax. Upon personal examination, I am disappointed to comment that the blue tone of the aluminum is much harsher. The thin factor is certainly nice--however, the LCD screen is too small for my taste. Although it may be color and brightly lit, the screen is much too small for viewing photos and album art--what a color LCD on a small portable should be used for.

Anyway, I would be happy to upload high resolution digital photographs if anyone is interested ^_^

I really think you might need to try and come down more in price to have a reasonable shot at selling this. The aluminum casing of the second generation iPod nanos really sort of wiped out the main area of desirability that the original iPod mini still had, so charging $10 less than what a brand new 2GB iPod nano costs (or $60 less than a 4GB one) might just make it really difficult. Heck, a used 4GB second gen iPod nano itself would probably get $150 or so on the used market, so this might just be more than the market will bear for a mini.

I think HumanTorch's advice to try selling on the ilounge.com forums is probably wise too; you are much more likely to at least possibly find a collector there who really wants a mini and might even be willing to pay close to your asking price.
