Default FS: Alienware Area 51m 7700

This is a great machine and will make any new owner very happy. If you take care of it and love it like I do I think you will get years of use out of it.

There are some minor blemishes on the wrist rest area, other than that the machine is in great condition. The screen is bright and has no scratches or dead pixels. I almost always use an external keyboard and mouse so the keyboard and touchpad are in excellent condition. I am also including the Alienware backpack which will be of little use to me without the laptop to put in it.

COOL FEATURES:

Extreme Performance - SATA RAID 0
For users seeking the highest levels of hard drive performance, Alienware offers Serial ATA RAID 0 configurations. RAID 0, or "striping," distributes data between two identical hard drives to enable enhanced system performance. In addition to increased performance, RAID 0 combines two hard drives sequentially, which doubles the total amount of available storage space. Suitable for situations in which drive performance and capacity are crucial, RAID 0 is the perfect solution.

High Performance with Data Security - SATA RAID 1
Serial ATA RAID 1 configurations provide fault tolerance for the ultimate peace of mind solution. RAID 1, or "mirroring," stores data in parallel between two identical hard drives to provide data security - should one drive fail, the second drive takes over, allowing the system to function as it did before the failure. When high performance with redundancy is a must, RAID 1 is the optimal solution.

This laptop hasn't left my desk for over a year and I just honestly dont need a portable system. I'm hoping to sell this so I can buy parts to upgrade my desktop system and pay some bills.

I' m looking to get $1400 for this machine, but I will take offers. I will accept a personal check, western union, cashiers check or money order. I'm sorry, I will not accept Paypal due to the high chance of fraud. I do have a verified merchant account with Google Checkout so if you wish to purchase this item using a credit card I can set up a listing on the Google Base to facilitate this.

I also have an escrow.com account and I am willing to process this transaction through them as well.

I will ship the item to locations in the CONTINENTAL US ONLY via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and signature delivery confirmation. I will cover the cost of shipping and will ship within 5 business days of funds clearing my bank. I am located in Charleston, WV.

Please feel free to contact me via email at chaosportal@gmail.com or phone me at 304-776-4298

Cheers !

Mike Martin
