Well, list price is probably about US$1800, + 1 GB RAM maybe about 1900.... if it's used a bit, prob drop 100 - 200 bucks to 1700 -1800 ?

It's definitely worth more than $1000 due to its carbon fibre chasis, alumunium brushed lid, and superb build quality.

yeah stock its 1800, and with 2gb ram its 1900 and used a bit i'd say realistically? if i were gonna sell it, i'd sell for 1500... but why sell? its an amazing system, just take out the t2500 sell that off as an "engineering sample" lol and put in a t7200, t7400 or t7600 and you are set for lyfe!! lol

$1500.

You lose %15 just by opening the box and powering the machine.

If its a just-out-of-the-box-and-I-changed-my-mind laptop, I'd pay 1600. Since we're not commercial retailers here, the 15% cut in value is just absurd. As long as the product in question has suffered no damage/wear/signs of use other than very minor scratches, 1600 is reasonable.
