Default FS: upgraded Asus W3V P-M 2.0 2GB 100GB 7200rpm

I am selling my W3V and going back to a desktop. It is in perfect condition and has no dead or stuck pixels that I could see using a dead pixel tester. It comes with everything you see here, and has been upgraded with the following:

Retail boxed Intel Penitum M 760 2.0GHz/533MHz FSB (3 year Intel Warranty)

2x Crucial 1GB DDR2-533 PC4200 for a total of 2GB dual channel DDR2 (Lifetime Manufacturers Warranty)

Hitachi Travelstar 7K100 100GB ATA-6 2.5" 7200rpm Hard drive w/8MB buffer (3 year warranty)

It was purchased on 11/22 and delivered 11/23. All upgrades were installed on 11/23. Original Processor, memory, and hard drive are gone, but the replacements are better and have a longer warranty. This laptop is $1699 at newegg. I have the original box and everything that came with it.

SOLD! I am asking $1550 shipped firm. SOLD!

I will accept a Dell 2005fpw as a partial trade as well.

Paypal or postal money order only. I will only ship to a confirmed address.

How old is this laptop? It is a tad too expensive considering that a brand new one costs less, even with all the upgrades you put into it.

The purchase date and date received are in the original post.

A brand new one costs $1699+shipping from most the places I looked, and some are even more. The processor is worth roughly $50 more, the hard drive roughly $75, and the memory around $100. You would also have to go through the trouble of selling the old parts.

where did you buy the laptop from?
Did you customize the laptop when you buy it or did you upgrade by yourself?
