I have a nice Sony Vaio PCG-K13 here. Internally, it runs perfectly fine and works great. But, after squeezing too tight on the LCD screen (foolishly, I lifed it up by the screen to take it off my lap), I busted many pixels inside the LCD. About 1/3 or so of the screen is unusable now and displays lines and random colors. The notebook still has good parts though and is in working order (I'm using it right now). I decided that I wouldn't bother trying to fix the LCD myself and wouldn't bother looking into it but instead get myself a new notebook and sell this one. So, you can get this VAIO very cheap, if you're interested. I'd recommend it if you can fix LCD screens. I put it up for an eBay auction. Feel free to check it out... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6805574216
