Would someone please tell me where I could find an Atheros 5005 or 5006 wireless card for under $70? Less is of course preferable.
Thanks.

I always start with newegg.com for those sorts of things.

You won't find a 5006 under $70, they go for at least $85, cheapest I've seen was $82 on eBay.
For the 5005, you can get yours for around $60~ or so

I can get you AR5006SX A/B/G versionf or 90 shipped. This uses the AR5414 chipset.

Well, what exactly are the differences between the two anyways? I don't even know. >.>

Well, the newer one has "better" reception, range, and power with less battery consumption I would think...

Hm... I have to think about whether or not I want 5006 for the increased price. Kingcow, could you tell me how to get AR5006SX A/B/G version even though I might not buy it?

Cheapest AR5006 is $97 with shipping on ebay
Contact this people and ask for quote

I got 5006 for 55 bucks each (I bought 2) plus shipping. Their price flactuates, so I suggest calling or sending email for price quote.
The only thing with PCD Global is that they do not provide support at all - they mainly deal with OEM manufacturers (they sell in bulk). The card will be mailed to you without the driver CD, but they'll send the drivers via email. It's really not a big deal because you can just google for the latest driver.
I installed one of the cards on my old Dell Latitude C810 laptop and the card works great. The other card is waiting to be installed on my Asus Z70VA (I ordered my laptop from Geared2Play last Saturday).
