I can buy a new Kingston one for about $77 Canadian, taxes included (which is about 65 USD). I'm obviously looking for a cheaper price, can be used but must be properly working (duh =P).

I am getting ready to buy an Acer Ferrari 4005. It comes with two sticks of 512MB PC3200 RAM. When I get it I will be looking to sell both sticks and replace them with 2GB PC3200 RAM. If you still need a stick of RAM, I can sell you one for $50 .00 (US) plus shipping (shipping should not be very much at all for one stick). Or if you wanted both sticks I would sell them for $100 (US) and I would pay for shipping. Let me know. I should have my new notebook in sometime next week.

Give me the grand total and I may consider it. I can still use PC3200 with PC2700 right? The PC3200 just lowers itself to DDR333?

That is correct, unless for some odd and mysterious reason your machine either predates modern DDR SO-DIMMs (which you would likely know about) or was designed specifically to reject PC3200 RAM (which I find highly doubtful, although if you could give the model of notebook you're planning on using this stick in, we could find out for sure).

Yes. The PC3200 ram will still work with the PC2700 ram. The PC3200 will just lower its speed to 333MHZ. I will let you know soon when I get my laptop. It should be sometime next week. Hopefully before Friday.
