I bought the Z33 12.1 Laptop with 1.86 and 768 Ram and I have 2 x 3 cell Batteries and 1 9 cell battery....this computer is fast and I have not had to reboot at all.....
I have decided with my reading glasses I need a 13 or 14" 4:3 for ease of reading the net, excel and word documents.....this computer has Corel Draw 11, MS Office Pro 2003 plus other software and has only been used for a week.
The computer, software (it also has Windows Pro) and 3 batteries ( 2 x 3 cell batteries and one 9 cell battery) make it worth a lot more than the $1395 shipped Conus that I am asking for it.
This is a great value
Thank you
Elliot

Where did you purchase it and what size hard drive?

It has a 60gig hard drive and the unit was purchased at PCBuzz in Southern California.
I went in and had it spec'd out.
The 2 - 3 cell batteries come from PC Buzz
The 9 cell battery comes from ProPortable.com
Thank you

I know the base specs of the notebook, yes. The Asus notebooks look fantastic. I've been doing an unholy (as per typical first-time buyer) amount of research for the last month or so. Just in time for the Dell 40% off sale I decided against the 700m.
My deciding point (between z33 and z63) may very well end up being the screen type. Do you know of any screens I might be able to see in-store (BestBuy, CircuitCity, CompUSA, Fry's Electronics) that would be comparable to the z33?
Hi,
I'm somewhat interested in the laptop. YGPM.

To transient,
I saw the Z33 and Z63 side by side and i did not like the glaretype screen on the Z63 plus I do not like widescreen.
The Z33 was half the weight also.

I think I just need to run out to a few retailers tonight to get an idea of what it's like. Other than that one thing (as I will surely watch DVDs on there when traveling), it is exactly what I'd want and I'd be all over this. I'll PM you shortly.
