Why I am selling:
I'm selling this because I need/want something more portable. I have no need for the video card in it and the extra heat and battery consuption that accompanies it over an Intel card.
What's Included?
- Acer Ferrari 4005WLMi
- Recovery Disks
- Ferrari Cleaning Cloth
- Bluetooth Ferrari Mouse with rechargeable batteries and charging cable
- Original Box
- Matching Red(but not Ferrari branded) case
Specs:
2.0Ghz AMD Turion 64 ML-37
1Gb DDR-333mhz Ram(2x512Mb)
DVD Super-Multi Drive(slot load - I'm going to miss that)
Broadcom Wifi(great card, at least in my experiences - far better than the Intel ones)
ATi Mobility Radeon X700 128mb
Matte Screen, 1680x1050 pixels
DVI-D out, VGA out, S-Vid out.
Acer docking connector.
4 USB
Firewire
PCMCIA Slot
Dimensions & Weight: 14.3" (363.0mm) W x 10.5" (265.7mm) D x 1.2" - 1.4" (30.5mm - 34.3mm) H. 6.3 lb. (2.9kg) (seems slimmer, has tall rubber feet)
Condition, etc.
Very good condition, the Carbon Fibre has few scratches, none of them are deep, and are barely noticible unless the light hits the laptop at a certain angle. Bottom is the same way, and only the 'Genuine Ferrari Licensed Product' sticker shows any signs of wear. The left click button on the touchpad is worn out, takes a hard push to use it, however you can easily just tap the touchpad or use the included mouse. There is a very small bit of paint off of the middle click button, and one screw missing from the bottom. This hasn't seemed to affect the strength of the laptop at all, infact until I was looking over the laptop to sell it on eBay in December, I didn't know it was gone. The battery is still in near new condition, showing nearly 3 hours remaining in Windows. A stick of RAM went bad on me a while back, and I just replaced it. You probably wouldn't know unless you opened up the laptop and compared both sticks of ram, but I'd prefer if you knew.
Please feel free to ask any questions about the laptop.
