Default WTB: wuxga laptop (or broken-screen capable one)

Looking for a less-expensive laptop whose price is commensurate with model/quality/condition. You'll get a fair price out of me, but keep in mind that I can buy what I want refurb from the dell store with a full warranty for about $1100 right now, for reference.

I'm looking for a laptop with:
  • wuxga display, pref in 15.4"; may consider wsxga if price is very favorable
  • an ibm-style trackpoint (found in IBM/lenovo, Dell Latitude, maybe others?)

Everything else is negotiable. If the price is particularly favorable, I might be able to ignore that the trackpoint is missing.. but I do love those things.

Note I also said a broken-screen "capable" one. So if you have, say, a dell latitude d820 that I could slap a 15.4" wuxga screen into, then this would fit my bill.

Thanks for your time!

EDIT:

Apparently this wasn't clear: I'm looking for the lower end of the price spectrum. I really only need WUXGA, working battery, and preferably the trackpoint. This will be used for work, primarily. NOTE I'm not trying to be unfair here by demanding a low price; I WILL pay a fair price. It's just that I just can't justify a highish end laptop when I can get a dell refurb d830 for $1150 (from Dell). A good example was that I saw a fully-depreciated d800 with a wsxga or wuxga screen for $400 in a local store that suits my needs, but it was bought before I decided to get it.

So, if you have an old d800/820/830 with a dead battery, no hard drive, and a cracked screen, I'm your man. If you have one that actually works but is a lower-end-config and you'll let go for < $1000, (PRICE COMMENSURATE), also contact me!
