Default FS:HP DV9700T 17'' laptop

For sale:

HP DV9700T laptop, delivered 02/18/08, have fedex number for proof of this.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7500 (2.20 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
17.0" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900)
2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
HP Imprint Finish (Radiance) Webcam Microphone and mini remote
Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection
240GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2)
LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD /-RW with Double Layer Support
8-Cell Lithium Ion Battery

Reason for selling: Money troubles,/ disagreement with Wife (she won). (no jokes please)

Here is the deal: Currently on HP's website, for the identical specs above, except with a slightly slower processor (HP has the slower T7250 2GHZ 2MB L2 cache, mine is the T7500 2.2GHZ 4MB cache), this is going for $1209 plus tax, so lets figure 5% state sales tax = $1270.

I received a really great deal due to a limited promo and picked this up for $955 shipped.

I figured, since I got such a good deal, maybe I should offer it to any forum members if they were close to buying the same and save them some money and maybe benefit me a little as well..... I have a Vista anytime upgrade cd I made, backed up all the HP software, and made restore disks right out of the box. If nobody is interested, or thinks I am unreasonable, that is fine, it's going back to HP as I am within the return policy.

So here is my offer: I essentially paid $955, add $115 to this =$1070, you save $200 and get a faster processor than the example quote above as priced today 02/27/08. Please note, I am only trying to save another member some money on a great laptop, as well as benefit me a little too. Either way, we both win.I will send fedex or UPS and insure the contents. Verified Paypal Member and over 50 100% Ebay feedback remarks (doublej212)

Send me a PM if interested, or just if you want more info about the computer in general for your own purchase with HP. Glad to help in either instance.

Please see my review here on this website for further photos, comments, and details. Note, I am the author.
