Looking for Gigabyte IRam
If anyone has a used Gigabyte iRam, I am interested in buying it from you. I have all of the PC3200 memory to make it work, I just need the physical IRam itself.
It looks like this:
Please PM me if you have one

Re: Looking for Gigabyte IRam
You use the iRam as a ram drive. It was made before flash harddrives. Unlike flash, desktop memory can be written to infinitely. It has insane boot speeds, as the operating system is stored in memory. the iRam uses standard ddr memory and uses its memory bandwidth as a harddrive. It has instantaneous load speeds. Their is a sata port on the top of the iRam, which connects to the motherboard. This means you can use as many as your board has pci, and if your motherboard has a raid controller, the iRams can be put into raid.
There is a video on youTube, where some guy has 4 in raid 0, and it has 435mb/sec continuous read/write speed.
I am looking for one for an old Compaq desktop I have. I would love for it to boot in under 20 seconds.
