Default Fs: E1705/9400

Up for sale I have my Dell E1705 , it's a great laptop and more than enough for gaming or whatever you need to do. It looks brand new, there are no scratches the palm rest is in perfect condition (doesn't have the usual paint fade from where your hand rests) and there are no other cosmetic damages anywhere.

It was the top of the line spec for the e1705's when it was built in mid 06. I have been able to play anything out with at least medium~high to Ultra High settings, I actually just finished up on Command and Conquer 3, it ran great at 1920x1200 Ultra High Settings, but I played it on 1280x720 Ultra High settings because I play on my 720p DLP TV( native resolution of 1280x720).

The warranty has currently expired but I have talked to the Dell Extended warranty people and they are willing to resume the complete care warranty for 2 or 3 years, I just don't have the need for it. The 2 year complete care is $380, 3 year $480, I would gladly activate this for someone(at your cost) before you purchased it and then transfer the warranty over to you if you were interested in it.

Specs of the Dell Inspiron e1705/i9400 :
Processor: Intel T2600 2.16GHz Core Duo
Motherboard Chipset: Intel Calistoga i945GM/PM
Hard Drive: 80GB 7200RPM SATA (Hitachi TraveStar)
Memory/RAM: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (667MHz)
Screen: 17.0" UXGA TrueLife (1900 x 1200 pixel resolution glossy screen)
Graphics: nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS 256MB
Optical Drive: DVD +/-RW with DL DVD+R write capacity
Battery: 6-cell (standard size 6-cell, 9-cell extended life optional)
Wireless: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11 a/b/g)
User Input: Touchpad
Dimensions: 15.5" x 11.3" x 1.6" (Width x Depth x Height)
Weight: 8.1 lbs
Ports:
6 USB 2.0 ports
IEEE 1394 (FireWire)
Digital Video Interface (DVI-D)
VGA out (monitor out)
S-Video Out
RJ-45 (Ethernet LAN)
RJ-11 (56-Kbps Modem)
Audio line out for headphone/speakers
Microphone
Slots:
o 5-in-1 Multi Card Reader (MS, MS Pro, SD, MMC, xD)
o 1 ExpressCard 54 slot
From what I can tell from the hardware manager it also does have the internal bluetooth, which I never used so no need for an external dongle.

I'll include a nice black laptop backpack, it was hard finding one that would actually carry this beast.

I have the breakout cable that converts the s-video into component/audio that I'll throw in as well.

This comes with Windows XP Media Center installed, and I'll include a Windows XP Pro SP2 Disc too.

This laptop when configured originally was valued by dell at $2000.00.
Reduced!! I am looking for $900 plus shipping costs.

I am in the Louisville KY area if you are looking to save on shipping and pick it up locally

Thanks for looking!!

sorry I had intended to add a picture verifying ownership, but had forgotten entirely about it. Hope this one works as I'm stuck at work without anything but my cell phone camera.
