Price Check: Inspiron 1520

Here is the deal, I bought both this guy and a Gateway FX laptop and decided to keep the Gateway. I am planning to pull the processor, RAM, and Blu Ray drive out of the Dell and swap them with the stuff from the gateway. The Dell is only a few days old. I have to decide between just returning the Dell as it came or doing the swap and selling the Dell on here (or ebay). If I can get a decent price, that is what I will do.

PS. Does anyone know if swapping out said components voids the warranty?

Swapping RAM will not, but it will void the warranty if you swap procecssors. (Not sure about the Blu-ray drive)

I have a feeling if you start opening the laptop/ swapping out parts other then wifi card, ram, or HDD my guess would be that it will void your warrenty,

probably about 750 after all taxes/fees/shipping. Looking over it, I think replacing the processor would be a real hassle so instead I may just pull the Blu Ray drive and charge 900 after all fees/shipping/etc depending on a couple of questions on the capability of the Gateway.
