20% off if its brand new, 40% off if it has been used/pulled out of box. Dock another 10-20% if the notebook has any cosmetic damages.

I cannot find the laptop on HP's website. It is used, but in excellent shape.

Thd dv2500 is two refreshes old, since the dv2700 is out now. How much did you originally pay, and how long ago?

Just a correction, the dv2500 is actually one refresh old, because HP never used the x6xx series in it's 2xxx, 6xxx, or 9xxx, they skipped from say, the 9500 to the 9700.

I would say take 300-400 off the price of a comparable dv2700.

Those laptops dont have the same options as the 2500
