Default FS: Dell Inspiron 9300

I figured I post it out to my fellow NBR members first...

I want to sell this notebook fast so I'm putting it up for fairly low price.

Purchased: March 2005 from Dell

Selling for: $500 shipped! US Buyers only!

Reason for selling: $$$ for paying bills.

Condition of items:
The laptop is 2.75 years old, there is obvious wear on the external chassis (palm rest, top lid etc). However, the laptop runs great as it did the very first day it arrived. There are no dead pixels on the display. The only component that failed on me was the DVD burner which was replaced through Dell's warranty. If something does go wrong with it, Complete Care should take care of it without any issues.

Payment methods: US Buyers only! Money Orders/Cashier’s Check or Paypal(preffered) is accepted. I will not ship the notebook until the money has cleared into my account.

Ebay reference: My ebay account name is vdfk. http://myworld.ebay.com/vdfk/

Misc: If you have an ebay account, I would prefer to create a private auction and have you buy the notebook through ebay. Once you purchase this notebook, there will be no returns (no exceptions). I don't have Windows XP Home CD that came with this laptop. However, one can be easily obtained via Dell by placing a call.

I will include a licensed upgrade copy of Windows Vista Business Edition which can be installed from scratch on this notebook. I will also install Windows Vista Business Edition on the notebook when i ship it out.

Warranty: There are 375 days of Dell's CompleteCare warranty left on this notebook. I will transfer the ownership to the buyer once the transaction is complete. From what I know, warranty cannot be transferred to Florida residents. Please research your state before purchasing.

Addons:
Windows Vista Business Edition Upgrade (OEM)

Bump, just so you guys know you can put a 7800gtx into this and make it a pretty screaming gaming machine for under $800 (gtx included). Good Luck

I just checked up on Go 7800 GTX cards online. Dell part# is HF594 (can anyone please confirm if thats the card that will go in this system?)

Ebay has one on sale for $499. Dell is selling it for $699. For some reason, the prices for these cards are incredibly high now.

The guide can be found through this link...

That is very high . Last I checked they were in the $250 range. Just did some checking around, and I can't find a single one for a decent price.

Yeah, thats the price I figured. I'd rather spend $400 more and get a full system with an 8600 than spend $500 extra ($1100 total!) for a system with a Pentium M.
