Default Price Check: Dell Inspiron 9300

I might consider selling my Inspiron 9300 for extra dough to spend around. However, before I make that decision..I wanted to get some opinion from fellow NBR forumites. I purchased this laptop back in March '05.

Here are the specs...
17" WSXGA (True-life display)
1.6Ghz Pentium M Processor
1GB 533Mhz RAM (2x512MB)
256MB Nvidia 6800 Go Video Card.
8X DVD+/-RW DVD Burner
60GB 7200 RPM HDD
802.11g wireless card, 100mb LAN, Modem
Warranty: 434 days left on Complete Care

Addons...
1GB 667 Mhz RAM
D-link DWA-652 802.11n series PCMCIA wireless card
Vista Business Upgrade OEM Disk (license is bound to this machine) - I don't have the XP Home disk that came with the laptop, i misplaced it. However, it can be easily acquired by calling Dell.

Condition: The laptop is 2.75 years old, there is obvious wear on the external chassis (palm rest, top lid etc). However, the laptop runs great as it did the very first day it arrived. There are no dead pixels on the display. The only component that failed on me was the DVD burner which was replaced through Dell's warranty. If something does go wrong with it, Complete Care should take care of it without any issues.

So Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for any responses.

Are you saying that it now has 2gb ram from the upgrade?
Oh course, ram isn't expensive nowadays but it does add some to it. This one is kinda hard to call but I'd say with the complete care it would be worth in the neighborhood of $700-$800. If it didn't have that I'd say around $500-$600. If it were me selling it, I'd get a dell home disk, load XP and sell off the Vista or save the Vista for a newer model pc...later on. The complete care could potentially create a cash cow on this and someone may find it worth more.

Thanks for the response Rereg. Since the notebook only has two RAM slots, with the upgrade...total memory would be 1.5GB. However, since ram is so cheap these days...4GB can easily be installed.
