This machine is in like-new condition and works perfectly. No scratches or wear & tear. It has been very carefully handled & always kept in a padded case when not in use. It comes with all the original accessories, including the "credit-card" remote, TV tuner with full size multimedia remote, OEM Win XP MediaCenter Edition DVD, etc.
I bought this HP dv8000t just over a year ago so I could do some gaming and watch DVDs at work. We are no longer allowed to bring laptops to work, and I've since become a full time nursing student (no Focker jokes please
) Anyhow, as a student, this laptop is too large for me to tote around to class all day long and I no longer have the time to do much, if any gaming.
For those reasons, I'd like to trade my machine for a smaller, lighter laptop. I would prefer a
Macbook or
Macbook Pro, but a PC would be ok too. I'm looking for something
no larger than 15.4" screen. It must be a modern laptop no more than a year or so old and in
like-new condition. I'd prefer the laptop had an Intel Core Duo processor or equivalent AMD chip, at least 1gb RAM, 80+gb HDD, wifi card, would prefer a dedicated video board, CD/DVD burner.
I'd also be willing to sell this machine, though I'd rather trade. I'd sell for $950.00 shipped & I'd prefer PayPal as payment method. I've never been an EBay person and have only sold a few things online before...one of them was a 1gb memory chip to a user on these boards through this category, but I'm willing to do anything within reason to make a potential trader/buyer comfortable with the transaction. I'd actually prefer to deal with someone local in WV, KY, VA, OH or PN, but would be willing to work with others.
