I purchased this system from Lenovo.com on 10/24/2007. I've decided I don't need it as I just got a Macbook Pro over Thanksgiving. Besides I also have another T61 so what am I going to do with 2? haha This system is in mint condition. I've upgraded the RAM to 2gigs and to brand new 200gb Hitachi Travelstar 7K200 harddrive. All of which I will include when selling. Also you'll have peace of mind and be covered with a 3 year warranty in which an onsite technician will come to your house to if needed.

Extras I will include:
200gb Hitachi Travelstar 7K200 (Already formated. All you have to do is slide the harddrive in and it'll boot up just like the original factory hard drive)

2 sticks of 1gb Crucial RAM 667mhz. I decided to get matching sticks to ensure stability and recieve dual channel support for system.

Thinkpads aren't the best looking laptops, but they're the best in build quality and have the best keyboards as well as other pros. Let's see what they think of your ThinkPad when there Sonys and Macs wear out in a couple of years

And please don't tell me you're selling this because it looks like a brick? Get a skin from skinit or schtickers, or maybe even a paint job. Just don't give up on ThinkPads soo soon.

All the dudes think the T61 looks awesome except for the ones with Macbooks haha. I actually enjoy the T61 but since I have two of them I need to get rid of one. My gf just got me a Macbook Pro..its pretty sweet but it just doesn't feel right rockin it around campus. This may sound crazy but I feel uncool owning a Mac haha..its cool though I still got my other T61.

I think thinkpads are the coolest looking laptops.
Its not gaudy, its very elegant and business like looking, thin, and strurdy.
Other laptops may be flashier, but thinkpads scream class
