Default WTB laptop for Guild wars

I Need a good laptop for school and also a lil gaming for CS:S and Guild wars.
Not looking for a huge XPS or Alienware Gaming laptop. Just one that can run school programs like word and a Lighting design program and the a few games.

min requirements

* Windows XP/2000/ME/98
* 800 MHz Pentium III or equivalent
* 256 MB RAM
* ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 or 4 MX with 32MB of video memory
* 500 MB hard drive space
* Internet connection
* DirectX 8.0

Would like

* Windows XP/2000/ME/98
* Pentium III 1GHz or equivalent
* 512 MB RAM
* ATI Radeon 9000 or GeForce 4 Ti Series with 64MB of video memory
* 500 MB free hard drive space
* Internet connection

Im thinking about the Core Duo Dell e1505 but is there no card better then the x1400? could i under clock a x1600?

there is no better card for the e1505 than the x1400. however, the x1400 is much powerful than even the recommended specs you listed.

kinda a noob question but if a get the x1400 I read that with a the 2 core duo you can get a 3D mark 05 score of 1800? and can over clock it to 2000+ is this true? how good would that be for CS:S and GW?

what is your budget? there may be better alternatives for you. the best you can do is overclock your gpu.

I can get a good deal on a used e1505 around $400 its specs are

100GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
